Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join a well-established housing organisation on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with experience in stock condition surveys, building pathology and asset management to play a key role in supporting investment planning and maintaining high-quality housing stock.

Key Responsibilities of the Stock Condition Surveyor:

  • Carry out stock condition surveys, building surveys and specialist property inspections.
  • Undertake damp & mould, disrepair, HHSRS and building pathology assessments.
  • Produce technical reports, specifications, risk assessments and costed schedules of work.
  • Validate and maintain asset data to support investment and regeneration programmes.
  • Identify building defects and provide practical technical solutions.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to obtain approvals and deliver projects.
  • Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities to maximise investment and improve housing stock.
  • Support compliance with Building Regulations, health & safety legislation and social housing standards.

The Successful Stock Condition Surveyor will have:

  • Experience carrying out stock condition surveys within a social housing, residential or property environment.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management, building surveying and building pathology.
  • Experience producing technical reports and providing specialist surveying advice.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and health & safety legislation.
  • A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent surveying experience.
  • Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience within social housing would be advantageous
