Sellick Partnership is supporting a not for profit organisation in Bradford with the recruitment of an experienced Treasury Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished treasury or senior finance professional to take on a key role within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will provide specialist treasury expertise, supporting the effective management of the organisation's cash, borrowing and investments while ensuring robust financial governance and control.

The role;

As Treasury Manager, you will play an important part in supporting the organisation's wider financial strategy.

Responsibilities are expected to include:

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of the organisation's treasury management function
• Managing cash flow, borrowing and investment activity
• Supporting the development and implementation of the Treasury Management Strategy
• Monitoring the organisation's borrowing and investment portfolio
• Ensuring treasury activities operate within appropriate governance, regulatory and policy frameworks
• Producing high-quality treasury information, reports and analysis for senior stakeholders
• Monitoring financial markets, interest rates and economic developments to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Supporting effective cash management and liquidity planning
• Providing specialist advice to senior finance colleagues and wider stakeholders
• Maintaining strong financial controls, processes and reporting arrangements
• Contributing to wider financial planning and strategic finance activity
• Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant external advisers and financial institutions

The ideal candidate;

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who can demonstrate:

• Strong knowledge of treasury management, ideally gained within a not for profit organisation
• Experience of cash flow, investments, borrowing and treasury risk
• A strong understanding of financial governance and control
• The ability to analyse complex financial information and communicate it clearly
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• The ability to operate confidently at a senior level
• Excellent attention to detail alongside a broader strategic perspective
• A relevant professional finance or treasury qualification would be advantageous
• Previous public sector treasury experience would be particularly beneficial.
