Charitable giving

Since our establishment in 2002, Sellick Partnership has actively supported the communities within which our business operates through charitable giving and voluntary work.

Across the UK we work with a number of regional and national charities including St Ann’s Hospice, The Lord’s Taverners, me&dee and Teenage Cancer Trust.

St Ann's Hospice Charitable Giving

St Ann's Hospice

For a number of years we have worked closely with St Ann’s Hospice, a charity that seeks to improve the lives of people living with life threatening illnesses in Greater Manchester. Over this time we have raised over £50,000 for this amazing cause through sporting events and ad hoc fundraising opportunities.

Speech MarksThe support from companies such as Sellick Partnership is essential to ensuring that St Ann's Hospice can continue to provide first-class care to our patients and their families, friends and carers. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Trustees, staff and myself to thank you all for your continual hard work and support. It is really appreciated.”
Jayne Bessant, Chief Executive
St Ann's Hospice

The Lord's Taverners Charitable Giving

The Lord's Taverners

Jo Sellick, Managing Director, has forged a positive relationship with the Lord’s Taverners Cricket Charity, an organisation that enables children with special needs to participate in the sport. As a true enthusiast of the sport, Jo recognises the importance of their work and was honoured to be elected to the committee of The Lord’s Taverners cricket charity in 2012.

We have various fundraising initiatives taking place in order to raise money for this organisation, including the Sellick Partnership Manchester Professionals Cricket League.

Payroll Giving

Sellick Partnership also runs a ‘Payroll Giving’ programme that provides a tax efficient way for employees to make a donation to a charity of their choice, on a monthly basis.
There are a number of benefits to the scheme, including all of the donations being deducted from an employee’s gross pay - as a result, the full donation goes to the chosen charity before the calculation of tax. Additionally employees are able to donate as little or as much as they like, making it an accessible scheme for all.
