Interim Assistant Finance Business Partner
Location: Northamptonshire (2 days per month on site)
Rate: £15-£20 per hour (DOE)
Duration: 3-6 months
Start: Immediate
Overview of the Assistant Finance Business Partner role:
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Finance Business Partner to support a well‑established organisation in Northamptonshire on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands‑on finance professional who is available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Finance Business Partner:
- Preparing and completing reconciliations
- Supporting forecasting and budget monitoring activities
- Liaising with budget holders and providing financial guidance
- Assisting with year‑end processes, including pulling together working papers
- Producing financial analysis to support decision‑making
- Working with Unit4 (Agresso) financial systems
Requirements for the Assistant Finance Business Partner:
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant / Assistant Finance Business Partner role
- Strong reconciliation, forecasting, and budget monitoring skills
- Confident working with budget holders
- Experience with Unit4 is highly desirable
- Ability to start immediately
- Willingness to attend the Northamptonshire site twice per month
