Assistant Senior Financial Accountant (band 6)
Salary: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum
Location: Birmingham - hybrid working - 2 days per week on site
Contract: Fixed term: 6-9 months
Overview of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant role:
Sellick Partnership is pleased to be supporting a Midlands based NHS organisation with their search for an Assistant Senior Financial Accountant on a fixed term basis.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant:
- Preparation of the Finance Pack for the Trust
- Assisting with the monthly monitoring of expenditure against the Capital Programme
- Reporting of Capital expenditure
- Preparation and maintenance of the trust's Capital Asset Register
- Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Accounts and Charitable Accounts
- Leading on the quarterly Agreement of Balances exercise
- Day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable Officer and Financial Accounts Assistant
Required experience/qualifications of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant:
- CCAB part qualified accountant
- NHS finance experience in a technical/financial accounting role
- Supervisory or line management experience
- Experience of NHS Statutory Accounting
