Commercial Property Associate Solicitor / Legal Director / Head of Department - Chester
Full-Time | £55,000 - £75,000 | Chester

A well-established and ambitious law firm in Chester is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its expanding real estate team. This role is flexible in seniority and presents an excellent opportunity for an Associate, Legal Director, or an experienced professional ready to step into a Head of Department position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied commercial property caseload, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development matters
  • Advising a broad client base including developers, investors, landlords, and corporate occupiers
  • Handling complex and high-value transactions with minimal supervision
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members (for senior candidates)
  • Playing a key role in business development and networking activities
  • Contributing to the strategic growth and direction of the department (particularly at Head of level)

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in commercial property law
  • Demonstrable technical expertise across a wide range of real estate matters
  • Ability to manage your own caseload independently
  • Strong commercial awareness and client management skills
  • Experience supervising or leading a team (essential for Legal Director/Head level)
  • Ambitious, proactive, and driven to contribute to team growth
