A leading construction disputes team is seeking a senior Contentious Construction Lawyer to join their Leeds office as a Managing Associate / Legal Director. This is a high-profile role for an experienced lawyer to lead on complex construction disputes, manage client relationships, and provide leadership within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Act on contentious construction matters for a broad range of clients, including developers, landlords, tenants, and public or private sector bodies
Provide strategic advice under standard and bespoke construction contracts
Lead complex dispute resolution, adjudications, arbitration, and litigation
Supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers and support staff
Contribute to business development and client relationship management
The Candidate
Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in contentious construction law
Strong technical knowledge of construction law and dispute resolution
Proven leadership and people management skills
Commercially aware, proactive, and confident in building client relationships
Benefits & Working Pattern
£80,000-£100,000 salary (dependent on experience)
