What will you be doing?

You will manage a broad range of private criminal matters, including:

  • Advising and representing clients at PACE interviews.
  • Magistrates' Court advocacy.
  • Crown Court litigation.
  • Police station attendance and representation.
  • Handling privately funded investigations and criminal defence matters.
  • Supporting the growth and development of the private crime practice.
  • Contributing to business development and networking activities.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.

What could make you stand out?

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Criminal Defence.
  • Experience handling privately funded criminal work.
  • Police Station Accreditation (preferred).
  • Strong advocacy experience in Magistrates' and Crown Courts.
  • Proven ability to generate or contribute to private client work.
  • Experience in regulatory, fraud or serious crime matters (desirable).
  • Strong communication, client care and business development skills.
  • Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach.
