An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to step into a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) role within a highly regarded, Legal 500 recognised law firm based in Reading.
This position is ideal for a senior employment solicitor looking to move away from a fee-earning role while remaining at the forefront of legal developments. You will play a key role in supporting the employment team by delivering technical expertise, maintaining know-how resources, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in employment law and sharing updates with the team
Drafting and maintaining precedents, guidance notes, and know-how materials
Supporting fee earners with technical queries and complex legal issues
Delivering internal training sessions and contributing to external seminars and client updates
Assisting with business development initiatives, including articles, briefings, and thought leadership
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor with strong experience in employment law (typically 5+ years' PQE)
Excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest in legal developments
Strong drafting and research skills
Confident communicator with the ability to deliver training and support colleagues
A proactive and collaborative approach
