Employment Lawyer - Remote
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) | Flexible / Part-Time Considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a forward-thinking and highly regarded legal services provider.

This role is ideal for an employment solicitor seeking a fully remote position with a strong emphasis on advisory work, supporting a broad client base across a wide range of employment law matters.

The Role

You will provide high-quality, commercially focused employment law advice, primarily supporting employers (respondent work) while also drawing on some claimant-side experience.

The position offers a varied workload combining day-to-day advisory support with ongoing client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing pragmatic, commercially focused employment law advice via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Supporting clients across a wide range of employment matters and HR-related issues
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, handbooks, and settlement agreements
  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, and dismissal processes
  • Handling Employment Tribunal matters from initial advice through to resolution
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted legal advisor
  • Contributing to articles, briefings, and client-facing training where appropriate

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in employment law (typically 6+ PQE)
  • Strong background in respondent/employer work
  • Some exposure to claimant matters is beneficial
  • Experience of Employment Tribunal work
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Able to provide clear, commercial, and solutions-focused advice
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
