About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a major public‑sector organisation embarking on a high‑profile Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation programme. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering multi‑workstream projects that will modernise systems, processes and ways of working across the organisation.

This role sits within the Change Delivery function and will be critical to ensuring the successful implementation of the new ERP solution, including leading key pre‑ and post‑implementation change activities.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex ERP projects from initiation through to go‑live and transition into BAU. You will:

  • Manage, motivate and support a project team delivering core ERP programme workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain strong project governance, reporting into programme boards, senior leadership and Chief Officers.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage critical path, milestones and resources.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Lead risk, issue and dependency management, identifying and resolving barriers to delivery.
  • Drive change management activity, including business readiness, communications and Change Impact Assessments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks and best‑practice methodology.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong communication, structure, resilience and a passion for delivering meaningful transformation.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with:

Essential Experience

  • Proven background leading teams to deliver ERP‑related projects
  • Experience delivering business change and supporting organisational transformation.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Confident working with governance frameworks, risk management and structured delivery methodologies.

Desirable

  • Programme/project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, Agile, MSP).
  • Experience working with SharePoint.
