Family Locum Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Locum Solicitor to join an established and reputable law firm based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy and supportive team, providing cover during a period of maternity leave.

The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on legally aid matters. The role requires a confident practitioner who can hit the ground running, maintain high standards of client care, and ensure compliance with Legal Aid requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of legally aided matters from instruction through to conclusion
• Advising clients on a range of issues in line with your area of expertise
• Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid regulations and firm procedures
• Drafting legal documents and representing clients where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate case records and meeting billing targets

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Proven experience handling Legal Aid cases (essential)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent client care and communication skills
