Associate / Senior Associate - Family (London)
Salary: £85,000 - £98,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded, top-tier law firm (recognised in the Legal 500) within its established Family team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, complex family matters within a supportive and collaborative environment, advising a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals on sensitive and often high-profile issues.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of family law matters, including:

  • High-value financial remedy proceedings

  • Divorce and separation matters

  • Private children work

  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

  • Cohabitation disputes and wealth protection strategies

You will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, while also having the autonomy to manage your own caseload and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied and complex caseload of family matters

  • Providing clear, strategic advice to clients on sensitive issues

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities

  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm on cross-disciplinary matters

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in family law

  • Experience gained within a reputable regional, City, or specialist family practice

  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills

  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service

  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and empathy

  • A team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
