An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a varied caseload of private family matters while progressing your career.

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of family law matters, advising clients on a range of sensitive and often complex issues. The work will primarily focus on private family law, offering exposure to high-quality matters and the opportunity to build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
  • Advising clients on divorce, separation, and financial settlements
  • Handling private children matters, including arrangements and disputes
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
  • Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
  • Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties
  • Supporting negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where possible

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in family law
  • Strong understanding of private family law procedures and practice ()
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently
  • Excellent client care and communication skills, particularly in sensitive situations
  • Strong drafting and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
