Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a highly regarded Legal 500 Tier 1 law firm that is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor to join its established team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to further their career within private family law, working alongside experienced Partners and Directors on a broad and high-quality caseload.
The team is recognised for its expertise in all aspects of private family law, with particular strength in financial remedy matters, including cases involving complex and high-value assets. You'll be encouraged to build strong client relationships, develop your technical expertise and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.
Advising clients on a range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes and private children matters
Managing your own caseload from instruction through to conclusion, including correspondence, billing, fee collection and preparing matters for hearings
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including court applications, witness statements and consent orders
Developing effective litigation strategies tailored to clients' objectives
Delivering a consistently high standard of client care with clear, pragmatic and empathetic advice
Ensuring compliance with file management procedures and regulatory requirements
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team
Supporting business development through networking, client events, articles and profile-raising initiatives
Qualified Solicitor with experience handling private family law matters
Confident managing straightforward matters independently while recognising when to seek guidance
Strong knowledge of private family law, including financial remedy and children matters
Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Commercially minded with excellent organisational and time management skills
Enthusiastic about contributing to the continued success and growth of the team
