Gas Safety Contracts Manager

Location: (Primarily remote)

6 Month Interim Contract,

£Competitive Hourly Rate

37 Hours a week

Sellick Partnership is proud to support a leading Housing organisation with the recruitment of a Gas Safety Contracts Manager on an initial 6‑month assignment, with the opportunity for extension.

This is a home‑based role with occasional travel focused on ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality gas services across a housing portfolio

Key duties of the Gas Safety Contracts Manager includes:

  • Mobilising new gas contracts, including one already underway and due to go live next year. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth transition, operational readiness, and full compliance from day one
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day delivery and compliance of gas servicing and repair contracts
  • Ensuring contractors meet quality, productivity, and safety standards
  • Leading on mobilisation activity for new contracts, working closely with internal teams and external partners
  • Monitoring gas safety performance through audits, inspections, KPIs and data analysis
  • Maintaining robust records, databases, and risk management documentation
  • Acting as a liaison point for residents, stakeholders, regulators, and partner organisations
  • Supporting accident/incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience required for the Gas Safety role:

  • Strong ACS and gas safety knowledge
  • Proven experience overseeing gas or compliance‑focused contracts
  • Ability to work independently in a home‑based environment while collaborating across multiple teams
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of compliance systems and reporting tools

Desirable (but not essential) qualifications and knowledge:

  • IOSH General Certificate
  • Gas safety or risk management qualifications
  • Membership of Gas Safe / AGSM (or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of housing regulations, the Regulator of Social Housing, and compliance expectations
