We're looking for an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager (Fire & Estates) to take the lead on fire safety, estates safety, and project‑related health and safety across our organisation. This is a key strategic role where you'll act as the go‑to expert for fire safety and estates‑focused health and safety matters.

The Health and Safety Manager (Fire & Estates) responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage specialist fire, estates, and project safety services
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety, asbestos management, CDM regulations, facilities management and construction safety
  • Develop and coordinate our approach to fire safety legislation and fire risk management
  • Promote and support a positive, proactive safety culture
  • Work closely with teams across the organisation, offering guidance, training and support
  • Oversee compliance activities, audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement work

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • Level 6 Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)
  • Level 4 Fire Safety qualification
  • Third‑party certification as a Fire Risk Assessor or Auditor
  • Asbestos Management P405 (desirable)
  • A solid understanding of health and safety management systems and fire safety legislation (including BS9999 and Approved Document B)
