Sellick Partnership are currently assisting one of our very good local authority clients in the recruitment of an experienced locum planning lawyer for a period of 3 months.
Working within a large in-house legal team, the successful applicant will manage a diverse range of planning matters, including:
- Drafting of S106 and S278 agreements
- Planning enforcements
- Providing advice in relation to planning appeals
- General planning advice to clients
- Certificates of lawful development
- Opportunity to advise on niche planning matters, including minerals and waste, phosphate credits
This is a fully remote role. Full and part-time hours will be considered.
Person specification:
- We are looking for an experienced planning lawyer, preferably with previous local government experience, however, private sector experience will also be considered
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister and Cilex qualified lawyer
This is a great opportunity to work for a well-respected local authority, managing an interesting and broad caseload. You will also benefit from excellent paralegal support.
