As they continue to grow, we're excited to introduce an opportunity for a talented Management Accountant to join a high performing Finance team.

As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting strategic decision making across the business. This is a hands-on position offering real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing organisation.

You will be working in a collaborative and supportive environment; gain exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic planning and be able to influence and improve finance processes in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and insightful commentary
  • Preparation of month-end working papers (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, leases and balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Posting journals and ensuring integrity of financial data
  • Managing supplier relationships, invoice processing, and weekly payment runs
  • Supporting Finance Group reporting packs (Flash reporting, full P&L, cashflow, balance sheet)
  • Supporting quarterly forecasting, annual budgets, and business planning
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly business packs
  • Providing external audit support and responding to audit queries
  • Supporting strategy and annual reporting
  • Developing standard procedures and driving continuous process improvements
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

The successful individual will be a confident, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and driving improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP minimum)
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Desirable

  • Experience within a professional consulting or professional services environment
  • Previous experience in a finance function within professional services
