Location: Midlands

A leading UK financial services organisation is expanding its Pricing Development team and is seeking a Principal Pricing Development Analyst to play a key technical role in its pricing transformation.

The role will involve:

  • Developing, improving and monitoring pricing models across the full pricing lifecycle.
  • Applying advanced statistical and data science techniques to behavioural modelling and analytics.
  • Researching new techniques and approaches to improve pricing performance.
  • Ensuring model quality, data integrity and effective governance.
  • Providing technical expertise and influencing business decisions through clear analytical insight.
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues across the team.

About the candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced data science, modelling or pricing professional, ideally from insurance or financial services, with:

  • Strong experience in pricing and/or data science modelling.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, Python and/or R.
  • Experience developing models and translating analytical outputs into business insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to lead complex work and support the development of others.
