Private Client Legal Director - Chester
Full-Time | £65,000 - £75,000 | Chester

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chester is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Director to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong private client specialist who is ready to take on a senior leadership role with supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a complex and high-value private client caseload, including wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, and tax matters
  • Providing expert technical advice to clients on a wide range of private client issues
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Playing an active role in business development and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the strategic growth of the private client department

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant experience in private client law
  • Demonstrable technical expertise across a broad range of private client matters
  • Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and develop junior colleagues
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • STEP qualification (desirable but not essential)
