We are currently working with a Top 40 UK law firm that is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with between 2 and 6 years' PQE to work closely alongside a Partner, gaining exposure to high-value, complex Private Client matters within a nationally recognised practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and assisting on a broad range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Working closely with a Partner on complex estate planning, trusts, succession planning and inheritance tax matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Delivering high-quality, tailored advice while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider business to provide a seamless service on multi-disciplinary matters.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the Sheffield Private Client team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Between 1 and 6 years' PQE with experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge, excellent drafting skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A genuine interest in developing their expertise in high-value and technically complex Private Client work.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • STEP qualification, or an interest in working towards it, would be advantageous but is not essential.
