Senior Facilities Manager

Location: Rotherham
Rate: £21.63 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee a large operational site. You'll ensure all facilities, plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standards while leading planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, soft services, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Facilities Manager:

  • Lead all PPM activities and maintain high‑standard plant, equipment, and building infrastructure.
  • Maximise equipment availability to support operations.
  • Oversee refurbishment and building refresh works.
  • Manage waste disposal in line with ISO 14001, working towards zero waste to landfill.
  • Ensure safe contractor management and adherence to all legislation.
  • Maintain accurate statutory and maintenance records.
  • Implement energy‑saving measures to reduce costs and support budget targets.
  • Manage soft services, including security and cleaning.

The successful Senior Facilities Manager will have:

  • Strong facilities management experience within industrial or complex environments.
  • Excellent Health & Safety and environmental compliance knowledge.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and WIP.
  • Confident communicator who builds effective relationships with clients and contractors.
