Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our client based in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This role is offered on a hybrid basis.

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the internal team to offer the best customer experience, generating profitable sales revenues for the organisation, and ensure internal KPIs are met.

The duties of the Accounts Manager include:

  • Building and maintaining strong successful customer relationships with key accounts
  • Responding to customer requests, maximizing each opportunity and meeting deadlines
  • Proactively promoting the entire organisation IP Solutions product range, including new introductions and promotions into identified key customer contacts
  • Researching project enquiries for information on competitors and other parties involved
  • Reporting any market/competitor information on pricing and products back to the DoS -Projects and Internal Security Manager
  • Maintaining the CRM Project database to create Sales Pipeline and forecast information
  • Ensuring price changes and price increases are managed and administered appropriately by the EU internal Sales team
  • Resolving Pre and Post Sales issues and queries by working with other departments to provide a successful outcome
  • Maintaining and driving the project sales report and have regular meetings with the team
  • Attending the Daily Opps meeting and raise any outstanding issues into the business and get them resolved
  • Managing department holidays to ensure there is enough cover within the team to meet the Department SLA's
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers to understand their expectations
  • Visiting key accounts as necessary to foster greater relationships between the customer's internal Team and the organisation's internal EU team

The Accounts Manager will ideally have:

  • Team management experience
  • Experience within a sales environment
  • Experience within project management
  • Strong negotiation skills

The Accounts Manager will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
