An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or experienced Fee Earner to join a highly regarded and long-established law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service and practical legal advice.

This boutique practice advises a broad range of businesses, professionals and individuals on complex commercial disputes and has built an enviable reputation for combining high-quality legal expertise with a personal, client-focused approach. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an ambitious litigation lawyer to become part of its successful and collaborative team.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, providing strategic and commercially focused advice to clients across a range of sectors.

Typical matters may include:

  • Contractual disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Debt recovery and enforcement matters
  • Property-related disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Commercial and business disputes
  • Contentious insolvency matters
  • General civil and commercial litigation

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Delivering practical and commercially focused legal advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing client expectations regarding progress, costs and outcomes
  • Ensuring matters are handled efficiently and in accordance with firm procedures
  • Maintaining accurate time recording and billing practices
  • Supporting business development and networking activities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Contributing to the continued success and growth of the litigation team

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Litigation Fee Earner
  • Experience handling commercial litigation matters
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strong organisational and client management abilities
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
  • An interest in business development and relationship building would be advantageous
