An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Fee Earner to join a highly regarded and long-established law firm with a strong reputation across the South Coast.

Known for its client-focused approach and high-quality legal services, the firm advises a broad range of businesses, investors, developers, landlords and tenants across a wide variety of commercial property matters. Due to continued growth, the team is seeking an ambitious lawyer looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload of commercial property matters, working closely with clients and colleagues while enjoying a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

Typical matters will include:

  • Commercial acquisitions and disposals
  • Landlord and tenant work
  • Commercial leases
  • Property finance transactions
  • Development projects
  • Conditional contracts
  • Option and overage agreements
  • Asset and portfolio management

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse commercial property caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members and support staff where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate time recording and billing practices
  • Contributing to business development and networking activities
  • Supporting the continued growth of the commercial property team

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
  • Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
  • Business development experience or an interest in developing client relationships would be advantageous
