Overview of the Commercial Property Solicitor role

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing Stoke-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4-5 years' post-qualification experience to work on a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base, including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and owner-managed businesses, while benefiting from genuine career progression opportunities and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor will include

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing matters
  • Handling landlord and tenant work, including leases, renewals, assignments, and licences
  • Supporting development and regeneration projects
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial property documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and networking activities

Required experience/qualifications of the Commercial Property Solicitor position will include

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4-5 years' PQE in Commercial Property
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Experience managing transactions independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and pragmatic approach
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
