An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (NQ- 3 Years' PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing Employment Law team based in Leeds city centre. This position offers the chance to manage quality claimant-focused work, develop hands-on experience across all stages of employment matters, and progress your career within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a varied caseload of employment law matters, from initial instruction through to resolution.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of issues including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and wage claims.
  • Draft and prepare ET1/ET3 forms, witness statements, correspondence, contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist in preparing cases for Employment Tribunal hearings and conduct legal research where required.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers while taking increasing responsibility for your own files.
  • Manage billing, file management and administrative tasks in line with office procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • NQ-3 years' PQE in Employment
  • Strong client care skills with the ability to communicate complex legal issues in a clear and accessible way.
  • Excellent drafting, written communication, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills and the ability to quickly learn internal systems and processes.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and handle pressure.
