What was it about Sellick Partnership that convinced you to take a role here?
After speaking with Simon, Claire and Josh, I was really interested in pursuing a career within recruitment at Sellick Partnership, the key point for me was the support and training provided as it is my first role in recruitment. Also the multiple different benefits that Sellick Partnership offers such as the weekly wellbeing lunch, company events, healthcare benefits and being awarded Great Place to Work!
What are the best things about your role? And the most challenging aspect?
I like how every day is different and how rewarding it can be filling a role. However, the biggest challenge I've faced would be learning the market as this was something I'd never done before.
What support and training have you been given?
The module 1 and 2 training days in Manchester were great for when I first started, and then expanding on this with on the desk training from my colleagues and managers.
Do you remember placing your first candidate and how did that feel?
The first candidate that I found was for my colleague Nyari, it was a Plasterer in the North East and it was a great feeling once he accepted the role. I've also assisted with placing senior candidates at a local council.
Outside of your job, what else do you enjoy about Sellick Partnership?
I really enjoy the friendships I have made here at Sellick Partnership, and also the events such as the football tournaments and social events we do as an office, and a company!
