An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Top 100 law firm with a strong reputation across the South of England.

This well-established and growing practice is recognised for providing commercially focused advice to a diverse client base, including businesses, senior executives and high-net-worth individuals. The Employment team is known for delivering practical, strategic solutions across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters while maintaining a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture.

The Role

You will join a busy and highly respected Employment team, managing your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters.

Typical work will include:

  • Employment Tribunal claims
  • Settlement agreements
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Employment contracts and policies
  • Redundancy and restructuring projects
  • TUPE advice
  • Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
  • Restrictive covenant disputes
  • Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Advising both employer and employee clients
  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value instructions
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Delivering commercially focused and practical legal advice
  • Assisting with business development and networking initiatives
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the team

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2-5 years' PQE
  • Experience across a broad range of employment law matters
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
  • Proactive and client-focused approach
  • Interest in business development and relationship management
  • Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
