A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Associate Solicitor to join its Family team.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied private family law caseload while supporting the continued growth of a well-regarded team. The role would suit a confident solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously, delivering high-quality client care, and contributing to business development activity.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a busy and diverse family law caseload
Advising clients on a range of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and children issues
Delivering a consistently high standard of client service
Preparing court documentation and attending hearings, mediations and meetings as required
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
Supporting junior team members where appropriate
Contributing to marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Skills & Experience
Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private family law
Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational, communication and drafting skills
Confident and professional client-facing approach
Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
Experience contributing to business development and networking activities
Desirable:
Experience handling complex financial or children matters
Advocacy or court attendance experience
Familiarity with modern case management systems
