Overview of the Junior Commercial Property Lawyer role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Commercial Property Lawyer to join our expanding Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their legal career within a supportive, collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Whether you are a Senior Paralegal with at least three years' commercial property experience or a recently qualified Solicitor with up to 18 months' PQE, this role offers excellent development opportunities, hands-on exposure to high-quality work and a clear pathway for career progression.

Key responsibilities of the Junior Commercial Property Lawyer will include:

  • Assisting on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and refinancing matters
  • Managing your own caseload of appropriate matters under supervision
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial property documents
  • Conducting legal research and providing practical advice to clients
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other third parties throughout transactions
  • Supporting senior members of the team on complex and high-value matters
  • Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and firm procedures
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery

Required experience for a Junior Commercial Property Lawyer will include:

  • Senior Paralegal with a minimum of three years' commercial property experience, or a Solicitor with up to 18 months' post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Solid understanding of commercial property law and transactional processes
  • Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A client-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
