Overview of the Modelling Contractor role

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Modelling Contractor to support a London-based insurance organisation on an initial three-month engagement starting in May.

The role will focus on the development and integration of pricing models within a new system environment, supporting the build and implementation of modelling capability as part of a wider platform change.

Key responsibilities of the Modelling Contractor will include

  • Developing Radar pricing models from scratch
  • Integrating an existing loss cost model into Radar
  • Supporting model implementation
  • Building and implementing a payload model
  • Working closely with pricing and technical teams to support model development and deployment

Required experience for the Modelling Contractor position will include

  • Strong experience developing Radar pricing models
  • Proven experience building pricing models from initial build through to implementation
  • Experience working within general insurance pricing or actuarial environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work within project teams
