Private Client Solicitor
Salary: £42,000-£48,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly respected law firm known for its strong client relationships and quality of work. This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, providing clear and practical advice to a broad client base. The role offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration, with exposure to a wide range of work including estate planning and wealth protection.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion
  • Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
  • Advising on probate and estate administration
  • Providing guidance on inheritance tax and estate planning matters
  • Supporting clients with Court of Protection and deputyship work where required
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high levels of client care
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and file management requirements
  • Assisting with business development and networking activities

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Client work
  • Solid knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning ()
  • Ability to manage your own caseload independently
  • Strong drafting, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
  • STEP qualification or working towards it is desirable
