A well-established law firm is seeking a Solicitor with experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence to join its growing team in Gatwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to work on a broad range of claimant matters, including personal injury and clinical negligence claims, while developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and assist on more complex matters, providing high-quality legal advice and client service throughout the lifecycle of a claim.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of personal injury and/or clinical negligence matters
  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex and high-value claims
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and other parties
  • Progressing matters efficiently and in accordance with relevant procedures and deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate file management and time recording
  • Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE
  • Experience handling personal injury and/or clinical negligence matters
  • Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
