Overview of the Pricing Modelling Consultant role

Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a well-established insurance organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Pricing Modelling Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong pricing professional to lead the development and optimisation of General Insurance pricing models across both personal and commercial product lines.

Key responsibilities of the Pricing Modelling Consultant will include:

  • Leading the development, implementation and enhancement of pricing models across a defined product range

  • Ensuring models remain accurate, competitive and aligned with agreed pricing standards

  • Designing and maintaining control cycles to monitor and refresh model performance

  • Working closely with Underwriting and Pricing stakeholders to inform technical rating decisions

  • Identifying opportunities to improve data inputs and model predictiveness

Required experience/qualifications of the Pricing Modelling Consultant position will include:

  • Strong experience within a general insurance pricing function

  • Proven experience developing and refining pricing models

  • Proficiency using Emblem to deliver pricing outputs

  • Experience reviewing models to ensure accuracy, governance and effectiveness

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing collaboratively to wider objectives
