Overview of the Private Client Solicitor role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a busy and well-established Private Client team based in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4-6 years' PQE to join a collaborative department with a strong pipeline of high-quality work and excellent opportunities for career development.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment. This role offers exposure to a broad range of private client matters and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with clients across the region.

Key responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration and Trusts
  • Providing high-quality legal advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • Delivering exceptional levels of client care throughout each matter
  • Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships and cross-refer work across the wider business
  • Contributing to business development activities and supporting the continued growth of the Private Client department
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding client service

Required experience of the Private Client Solicitor position will include:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 4-6 years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law
  • Strong experience managing a broad range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Estate Administration
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to provide practical, client-focused advice
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and commercially aware approach to client service
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent organisational skills
