We are working with a brilliant Legal 500 ranked firm who are looking for a Property Litigation Associate (5 years' PQE+) to join a well-established Property Litigation team based in Leeds. This role could also be suitable for somebody looking to move into a Legal Director position.

This role is ideal for an experienced property litigation lawyer looking to further develop their career while working on high-quality, varied matters for a diverse commercial client base, and playing an active role in supervising and mentoring junior team members.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing your own varied caseload of property litigation matters
  • Advising on landlord and tenant portfolio management, including lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations and break notices
  • Supporting clients on option agreements, easements and restrictive covenants
  • Assisting residential developer clients with land purchase and vacant possession strategies
  • Handling mortgage repossessions
  • Supervising and mentoring junior associates within the team

About you:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and experience in property litigation
  • Strong background in landlord and tenant matters for commercial clients
  • Confident managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Commercial, proactive and client-focused in your approach
  • A motivated, collaborative team player who is calm under pressure and comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team
