Real Estate Managing Associate (5+ PQE)
Location: Manchester

The Role
We are recruiting a Real Estate Managing Associate (5+ PQE) to join a dynamic real estate team, working on a broad and sophisticated range of property matters. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio, lead high-value transactions, and contribute to the strategic development of the practice.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:

  • Lead on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and leasing

  • Provide strategic advice on property management, development and regeneration matters

  • Negotiate and draft a range of real estate documentation - leases, sales agreements, development contracts, and joint ventures

  • Manage and build strong client relationships, with responsibility for maintaining key accounts

  • Mentor, supervise and develop junior lawyers, contributing to a high-performance team culture

  • Support business development initiatives, helping to grow and shape the real estate practice

  • Participate in formal training and development programmes to support your ongoing professional growth

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial real estate law

  • Demonstrable experience in transactional real estate work (investments, leasing, development)

  • Excellent technical skills in drafting, negotiation and deal execution

  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide strategic, business-focused advice

  • Proven client relationship and stakeholder management skills

  • Leadership or mentoring experience, with a collaborative mindset

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to run multiple high-value matters
