Overview of the Residential Property Administrator role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Property Administrator to join a busy and well-established Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and organised individual who enjoys providing high-quality administrative support and is looking to build a long-term career within a legal environment.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department by providing comprehensive administrative support to fee earners and colleagues.

Key responsibilities of the Residential Property Administrator will include:

  • Opening new client files and completing associated administrative processes
  • Managing file administration, including file closing and archiving procedures
  • Photocopying, scanning and preparing legal documentation
  • Answering telephone calls, taking accurate messages and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Assisting with audio dictation and document typing
  • Taking meeting minutes where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files are kept up to date
  • Providing general administrative support to the Residential Property team

Required experience will include:

  • A minimum of four years' experience working within a Residential Property legal environment
  • Previous experience in a legal administration, legal secretary or legal support role
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A reliable, consistent and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy office environment
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys providing administrative support
