Overview of the Residential Property Solicitor role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a busy and expanding Residential Property team based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE who is looking to play a key role in the continued growth of a thriving department.

Joining a collaborative, multi-office team, you will manage a varied and high-quality residential property caseload while helping to strengthen the firm's presence within the local market. This role offers an excellent platform for career progression within a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities of the Residential Property Solicitor will include:

  • Managing a broad caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages
  • Delivering exceptional levels of client service throughout the transaction process
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local introducers and referrers
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the Residential Property team through business development activities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices to share knowledge and deliver the highest standard of service
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures

Required experience of the Residential Property Solicitor position will include:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in Residential Property
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters
  • Experience managing a busy and varied caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • A proactive approach to business development and networking
  • A stable career history demonstrating continued professional development
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
