An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded firm based in Birmingham.

This role is suited to an experienced practitioner looking to take a leading position within a respected private client team. You'll advise on complex and high-value private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate and succession planning, inheritance tax mitigation, and estate administration for high-net-worth individuals and families.

In addition to managing your own caseload, you'll play a key role in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to strategic planning, and supporting business development initiatives. There is genuine scope to influence the direction and continued growth of the private client practice in the Birmingham market.

About you:

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in private client law

  • Strong background in complex estates, trusts, and tax planning

  • Confident leading matters independently and advising HNW clients

  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or informally managing junior team members

  • Commercial, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach
