I cannot believe a year has almost passed since the 2015 Derby Telegraph Business Award. The awards in one of the major highlights in Derby's business calendar, when Derby College’s Roundhouse is filled with the counties very best businesses and of course their avid supporters.

Derbyshire is home to some remarkable businesses, who deserve to be recognised for their innovation, passion, determination, collaboration, drive and skills; all of which goes into running a top-performing business.

In total, there are 13 categories within the awards:

  • Small Business
  • New Business
  • Business Entrepreneur
  • Services
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Science and Technology
  • Retail
  • Creative Industries
  • Manufacturing

  • Contribution to the Community
  • Not-for-profit
  • Company of the Year

Sellick Partnership have been a supporter of the awards since the inaugural year in 2014, having opted to sponsor and judge the not-for-profit category, due to its connection with our public and not-for-profit sector recruitment offering.
At Sellick Partnership, our mission is to ensure that we always put people first. We are passionate about the difference that we can make through the quality of service that we offer, and the value that we add within our business community, so we truly value the opportunity that these awards offer us and of course our finalists and winner!
The awards are also exciting for us, as we get the chance to give something back by recognising exceptional business performance within our chosen category.  Given the significant challenges that the not-for-profit sector has and continues to experience, we firmly believe that their achievements and contribution to our region need to be recognised, so we are delighted to be able to reward their hard work and dedication.
This year, an impressive black tie awards evening will be held at the Roundhouse,Pride Park, Thursday 9th June.

Entries are now open - so organisations across the county are now being invited to put themselves forward.

Do you think your business is Derbyshire's best? If so, apply now. You have until Friday, March 25 to enter, after which the judging process will start.
