A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Chester is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to join its well-established Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, supportive environment handling a wide range of quality commercial property matters.
The team advises clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, development projects, and secured lending transactions. You'll play a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring matters run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Audio typing, transcription, and document production
Drafting, amending, and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Completing SDLT returns and managing Land Registry applications via the portal
Managing diaries, client communication, and general administrative support
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months' experience within a Commercial Property team (essential)
Strong secretarial skills including transcription, dictation, and formatting
Experience with SDLT and Land Registry processes
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Comfortable working predominantly office-based
Benefits:
