A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Chester is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to join its well-established Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, supportive environment handling a wide range of quality commercial property matters.

The team advises clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, development projects, and secured lending transactions. You'll play a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring matters run smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Audio typing, transcription, and document production

  • Drafting, amending, and formatting legal documents and correspondence

  • Completing SDLT returns and managing Land Registry applications via the portal

  • Managing diaries, client communication, and general administrative support

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience within a Commercial Property team (essential)

  • Strong secretarial skills including transcription, dictation, and formatting

  • Experience with SDLT and Land Registry processes

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

  • Comfortable working predominantly office-based
