We are working with an established and forward-thinking firm seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced lawyer to work on a broad range of high-value transactions, contribute to the growth of the department, and play an active role in developing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold premises

  • Preparing and negotiating commercial leases, lease extensions, and related agreements such as licences to assign, underlet, or alter

  • Advising both landlords and tenants on asset and portfolio management

  • Providing property-related input on corporate transactions

  • Acting on secured lending matters for both lenders and borrowers

  • Recognising legal and commercial risks and advising clients on appropriate strategies

  • Liaising confidently with clients, other professionals, and external parties throughout transactions

  • Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the firm's presence in the local commercial market

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in commercial property law

  • Demonstrates a strong track record in managing complex transactions with minimal supervision

  • Excellent technical skills combined with a commercial and pragmatic outlook

  • Experienced in developing and nurturing relationships with clients and professional contacts

  • Well-organised with a meticulous approach and sound judgment

  • Eager to contribute to marketing initiatives and the growth of the team
