Commercial Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is working with a well-regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking a Junior Commercial Solicitor to join their dynamic and supportive commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of commercial legal matters, working alongside experienced lawyers and developing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the team on a varied caseload including:

  • Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements

  • Advising on day-to-day commercial matters

  • Assisting with due diligence and transactional work

  • Providing clear and effective client communication

  • Supporting senior solicitors on more complex files

• Conducting legal research and preparing documentation

• Contributing to business development and client relationship building

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years' PQE) with some commercial law experience

• Strong academic background and a keen interest in commercial law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Organised, proactive, and client-focused

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commercial awareness and eagerness to develop legal expertise
