Community Care Solicitor/Legal Executive

A highly regarded and growing Community Care & Welfare team is seeking a motivated and compassionate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their specialist firm based in Reading.

This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to work on meaningful, privately funded matters involving health, social care, and Court of Protection issues. The successful candidate will manage a caseload with supervision and benefit from ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of community care and welfare matters under supervision

• Draft legal documents including advice letters, Court of Protection applications, and pre-action letters

• Liaise with clients, experts, and public bodies

• Support senior fee earners and contribute to legal research and business development

Requirements:

• Experience or strong interest in Community Care, Court of Protection, or Public Law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confident handling a caseload with appropriate supervision

• Strong IT skills and attention to detail
