Sellick Partnership is working with a leading, award-winning firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their highly ranked Court of Protection team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take on a leadership role within a top-tier practice recognised in Chambers and The Legal 500.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex Court of Protection matters, particularly high-value cases involving substantial damages.
Act as a professional deputy/trustee and director of the firm's trust corporation.
Make key decisions on property, finances, and welfare in clients' best interests.
Mentor and support junior colleagues across the team.
Attend client meetings, reviews, and site visits across England and Wales.
Lead business development initiatives and strengthen relationships with clients and referrers.
Contribute to team growth and improve internal processes.
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with significant Court of Protection experience.
Confident handling of complex cases and leading on best interests decisions.
Strong communicator with a collaborative approach.
Experienced in team leadership, mentoring, and business development.
Familiar with trust and deputyship matters, budgeting, and safeguarding.
