A leading Legal 500 employment practice is seeking an Employment Associate (3-6 years' PQE) to join its highly regarded Senior Executive team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value and often sensitive matters for senior professionals across a wide range of industries, including finance, private equity, and professional services.
You'll support partners and senior lawyers advising CEOs, board directors, founders, consultants, and other senior executives on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating, and client-focused.
Your responsibilities will include:
Advising on discrimination, whistleblowing, and contractual (bonus) disputes, often in Employment Tribunal and High Court proceedings
Supporting on complex exit negotiations and settlement arrangements involving reputation and regulatory considerations
Managing your own matters under supervision, with early responsibility and direct client contact
Contributing to the team's business development and marketing initiatives
Exposure to high-quality, complex work with senior-level clients
A collaborative, supportive working culture that values initiative and personal development
Access to ongoing training and mentoring, with clear progression opportunities
A competitive salary in the range of £95,000-£115,000, depending on experience
3-6 years' PQE with solid experience in employment law
Sound understanding of core employment principles such as unfair dismissal and discrimination
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
A proactive, commercial approach and attention to detail
Confidence handling responsibility and direct client interaction
A genuine enthusiasm for advising individuals on complex employment issues
