Sellick Partnership is working with a well-regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking a Junior Employment Solicitor to join their growing employment team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to develop practical experience handling a wide range of employment law matters, working alongside supportive and experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with employment law cases including:
Advising on contracts, disciplinary and grievance procedures
Supporting clients with redundancy, TUPE, and settlement agreements
Conducting legal research and drafting correspondence and documentation
Assisting with tribunal claims and preparing for hearings
Providing excellent client communication and support
Supporting senior solicitors with complex cases and projects
About You:
Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years' PQE) with some employment law experience or interest
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, proactive, and client-focused
Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in employment law
