Employment Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is working with a well-regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking a Junior Employment Solicitor to join their growing employment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to develop practical experience handling a wide range of employment law matters, working alongside supportive and experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with employment law cases including:

  • Advising on contracts, disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • Supporting clients with redundancy, TUPE, and settlement agreements

  • Conducting legal research and drafting correspondence and documentation

  • Assisting with tribunal claims and preparing for hearings

  • Providing excellent client communication and support

  • Supporting senior solicitors with complex cases and projects

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years' PQE) with some employment law experience or interest

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Organised, proactive, and client-focused

• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in employment law
